Daufuskie Island Foundation

Preserving our Culture.  Protecting our Land.  Securing our Future.

The Daufuskie Island Connection Banquet was initiated in 2013 as a an avenue whereby all Native Daufuskie Islanders can come together and fellowship to strengthen the old bond that has sustained us for hundreds of years.  It is also a time for us to extend a formal invitation for new memberships into the Daufuskie Island Foundation (DIF).  While this is an evening of fun and laughter, it is centered around addressing central issues on the home front (Daufuskie Island) such as land preservation, transportation, and economic development.  This is an annual event held every second Saturday of October unless further notified.

All Daufuskie Islanders, family members and friends are encouraged to attend this event and to bring ideas to improve the work and the mission of DIF: "To serve and support our families still currently living on Daufuskie."
